Photographer's Note

I believe that this image, compared to one of my first "posts" of the same church, gives an idea on how much I improved, with the help of TE friends, whom I thank sincerely. I know that I have still a long way to go and I hope to continue counting on you.

Thank you!

The Parish Saint-André d'Acton has parochial registers since 1858 and is part of the diocese of St-Hyacinthe. Saint-André was chosen as patron because of the presence of the first "traders" of the canton of Acton who were of Scottish origin. The toponym Acton Vale comes from the English word oaktown, and the Latin word vallis, which means "valley".
