The cross plus the rainbow make a nice contrast/statement. Apply the rule of thirds, crop much more tighter on the top and bottom and you get a very interesting shot focused on the rainbow, cross and birds.

Nice shot with the rainbow and cross both adding to the composition. I agree that it would be a good idea to crop out the bottom portion.
