Photographer's Note

Yesterday I showed you my first encounter in lake Matane, a lake inside the Matane Wildlife Reserve.
While taking picture of my second encounter (see WS) this little girl came to me very courious about what I was doing with my camera pointing to the lake's border. She helped me giving some instrucions in what to shoot, showing me the family of my second encounter subject, nice and happy. After a while she started paying with the water... There's a popular saying in Portuguese that says "Those who play with water will always get yet". Well that is what happened to me and my camera! Just few seconds after I shoot this picture the girl turned her leg in my direction! End of the play. I got concentrated to a possible damage on my camera and she walked way. To my surprised she seemed quite happy about what she had done...
Amazing how the kids can turn quickly from gentle, playful, to sadistic and sometimes mean. All their emotions and feelings are in pure state, no hidding, no mesuring.
I did some exposure adjustment in PP as the light was not very nice. How could I get her well exposed without losing the detailed sky? Any tips?
