Photographer's Note
When our group finished waching the show and exploring the enviroment for pictures at the Jacques Cartier square we decided to go to Montreal down town to enjoy the atmosphere of the grand prix there. How to reach there? By train or by foot. We decided that by foot we would have more pictures oportunity on the way as we could cross by Chinatown to go to St Catherine street. Which street to take? I had the unfortunate ideia to suggest descending the stairs behind the Hotel de Ville... Not much to see abd photograph there and many stair for Rebecca to go down with her bike... But on the way I notice the nice shadow on the stair and started playing with it, it was whem I saw this beautiful women coming in my direction and the shadow of the 2 guys that had just went down the stairs, I didn't hesitate in pressing the botton.

Carlos

Hello Flavia,
Nice choice of B&W. The shadows look great, especially on the stairs. I would have perhaps caught the whole of the lady's shadow but that is just my taste. Nice one, good POV.
Cheers,
Debbie

Flavia,
This is a fantastic shot. This is what I'm talking about. Perfect street photography. Not only that she's beautiful, the shadows and the legs from the guys are a nice touch. I love the composition. You rock, girl!

Hello Flavia,
I like the two pairs of shoes walking away and the woman walking up. That's a nice combination. But it feels like you took the point of focus too low. Feels like her hair is lacking that sharp edge I'd expect. The tiles in the background are also a bit too light to my liking, but that depends on the way you converted it to greyscale. Next to that, great compo.
Greetings, Dennis

Hi Flavia
Love your composition and what is implied by it.
Personnaly,I found that you open too much for this one,as I will have like the lady in a sharper focus, the head seems fuzzy.
Noneless,I like the compo. and the mood from the B&W conversion.

Like the dynamism you have created with the two men leaving the frame and the beautiful lady entering. You have a great eye to capture this. Well composed. The shadows are playing very well in the frame. Great shot TFS

Hi Flavia,
Very interesting pov. I like the composition you chose here. The complete woman's shadow in the picture would have been great also.

Bonjour Flavia,

Hello Flavia, good image with good POV leaving the woman very well framed in the image, I am glad the conversion of the image to BN, believe that it gives him a good contrsate between the modern lady and ancient effect of the BN.
big work, a greeting
happy weekend.

Hi Flavia friend. I like this work on B&W very much, it has a great composition given by this high special POV. This beautiful girl going upstairs gives a lot of dynamism to the picture. And those strog shadows works really well on the photo. Congratulations and best regards.
I have decided to add you to my favorites, so I will never lost your way.

Pd: I know your english is perfect, and I would like to ask you a pair of questions i do not understand: what is the meaning of DOF and TFS? thanks.

HOla Flavia
I like the creativity in this photo very much.
maybe I would have liked to see a bit of a lower POV that would have got more of the going legs and less of the stairs ... but than this angle has its own appeal.
good take ... tchau ... sarju
