Photographer's Note

Predominantly English-speaking, North Hatley is a village in the Eastern Townships region of Quebec (Cantons de l'Est), with approximately 800 inhabitants. North Hatley was founded in 1897 at the northern tip of Lake Massawippi. The charm of the place makes it attractive to tourists, and every Summer they are more numerous than its population. Sumptuous and century-old residences have been converted into charming hotels, bed and breakfasts and restaurants.

In Workshop#1 a view of the pier on the shore of Lake Massawippi and in Workshop#2 a street with the lake in the background.
