This lake is one of the most beautiful places in Western Canada,located close to Banff,small mountain town-resort. Lake is a very popular place to visit,surrounded by mountains,in a very quiet,peaceful valley. About 15 minutes drive there is another famous lake named Lake Louise.

Hi Mike:

Welcome to TE. A very beautiful subject to start with. The top is overexposed--a grad filter would have been helpful. Also, I would try posting a larger size--it's hard to see the details here. Keep the photos coming though. :)

Hi Mike,

I see we use the same camera! Nice choice! I like this lake however I have to admit this picture is not the best to show the beauty of the lake. I think, first, you need to post a larger version, preferably 800x550(approx)pixels and 200-300kilobytes. Nevertheless a very nice subject to start with your presence in TE. Hello Mike,
I came across your early post here, and this is heaven-on-earth image. Beautiful scenery, I had seen quite a few on TE of this lake with same POV - However , a small size on this photo - So, I suggest you go again and shoot as many of this fabulous place and post more and more...
