Photographer's Note
It's a quiet afternoon in Coastal Mountains of British Columbia. We are looking from Brohm Ridge towards peaks and glaciers of Tantalus Range. Squamish River valley is cooling as the evening approaches, but up here the sun is still strong, pushing colder air down and creating this rare phenomenon of inversion with layers of clouds like veils that conceal the mystery below us.
Four years from now these mountains will be known to millions of people around the world when Vancouver will host the next Winter Olympics and all traffic between there and Whistler (site of all alpine, cross country and ski jumping competitions, about 50 km to the right, looking at this photo) is going to pass right down in the valley up Sea-to-Sky highway, in the shadow of these majestic mountains.

Serwus Leszek !
Delikatnie zarysowana, malarska sceneria poprzecinana promieniami słońca. Atmosfera spokoju, wyciszenia. Kapitalnie poukładany kadr, pozwalający cieszyć się urokiem chwili. Znakomite zdjęcie. I do tego świetna notatka.
Gratuluję i serdecznie pozdrawiam,
Mateusz

Hello Leszek, welcome back, with this serene, beautiful landscape of the Tantalus Range. I hope I can see it one day... very nice atmospheric conditions indeed. A superb take, with a feel like in some older Oriental paintings.

Witaj po przerwie :)
No bomba. Ekstra gory przesloniete chmurkami dla dodania dystansu. Jak dla mnie jednak az za duzo nieba obciales. To powoduje wrazenie, ze gory chca wyskoczyc z kadru ;).
Pozdrawiam i prosze o wiecej takich.

A spectacular take across these mountains Leszek - a symphony in blue - it's amazing to think of all the focus that will fall on this area once the Olympics take place - a nice name too - Tantalus - beautiful light and a sense of mystery that surely tantalises.
