Photographer's Note

This photo was taken on Alberni St., of a shopping-tour bus, with the Hotel Vancouver reflected in its windshield - tourism in Vancouver in a nutshell!

The hotel was built by the CRP and CNR, and opened in 1939. Today, it is a Heritage Building in Vancouver.

I'm happy with the capture, but I'm not so happy with the execution of this photo. Please critique and workshop!

This attempt at a photo looks to be a great idea, although it can be hard to get it right.
I feel the exposure and focus in this photo is ok, some things can always be better but overall I feel this is a decent attempt.
When it comes to the composition I feel there are a few elements that obscure the setting. If possible I would have tried to get closer to the bus (maybe use crop?) and tried to isolate the attention of the photo on the reflection and not everything else around it. To put it simple: the white front of the bus is quite disturbing.
But overall, an ok photo.
