Greetings TrekEarth members, I thought my first photo upload should be one from close to home.
The image shows one of the small craft harbours on southern Vancouver Island. The far peak is Mt. Tuam on SaltSpring Island. Am looking forward to seeing some great shots here and learning a few digital techniques.

Welcome to T.E., Glen. This is an excellent capture, except I think it is a little dark. Maybe if it was a little lighter, it would show the beauty better. Otherwise, it is very clear and has nice reflection in water. Good first pic.

very peaceful and very clean! a nice harbour to return to from the round the world yacht tour. the water is so calm it's like a mirror. Is that early morning or late evening? welcome to TE Glenn! (ps you might try framing it, i find frames work well with still shots)
