Photographer's Note
This is a photo of an Arctic Wolf.
Taken at the Greater Vancouver Zoo in Aldergrove, a suburb outside of Vancouver.
This paticular wolf was very curious of the people, while another arctic wolf was very skittish and shy.
While i took the picture i thought nothing of it, until i came home and noticed the sunlight shinning on its face - i thought it looked rather interesting.
Thats what i love about photography, you never know until you look closely at your shots.
Thanks for looking!

Hello Craig,
Indeed the light works very nicely here. Enhances the effect of the eyes very well. The image is well composed with the head positioned on the side. The colours contrast well but again the light is what makes this image more interesting. Thanks Craig :-)

Just as the light faces it just adds life to the picture. A wolf's eyes just makes that stare powerful.

Hi Craig,
Excellent capture. The wolf is a magnificent animal. The image is very beautiful with this band of light on his face.

Hello Craig
Sometimes, it is necessary to give a second look at the pictures...it is what you have done for this one and you were right, because the light you have caught on the wolf's eyes is nice and made for a good contrast with the darker foliage providing an interesting BG.
Cheers

Bonjour Craig,
J'aime beaucoup cette photo. Ce chien a des yeux expressifs et un pelage blanc superbe qui se détache bien sur le fond sombre.
On a envie d'être son amie.
Bonne journée.

Hi Craig
I don't know how I missed this one. A nice alround portrait of this wolf. It has good DOF and of course catchlight in the eye and the angle is such that we can see a bit of his right eye. My only suggestion would be to crop this to a square format. I might try a WS and see what it looks like after all I have been wrong before. Well maybe once ;))

Ciao Craig,
il lupo è l'animale a me preferito, specialmente quello bianco.
Spero un giorno di incontrarne uno così.
TFS!
Francesco
