Photographer's Note
We had just sailed across the Northern Atlantic from the British Isles, stopped off in Reykjavik, Iceland, then made landfall in Halifax, Canada. From Halifax in Nova Scotia we took an excursion bus approximately an hour's distance to Peggy's Cove. The lighthouse in Peggy's Cove is the centerpiece of the tiny fishing hamlet (population 640). The town is named after the only survivor, Margaret (or "Peggy) of a schooner that ran aground and capsized in 1800. As we walked through the fishing village, the bright red boat created an eye-catching focal point.

Hello Bülent,
I imagine this looks pretty much like Iceland, and I imagine there could be found some brightly painted boats on that island too. The red and white boats are nicely matched by the red and white buildings. It's a nice photo with great clarity and I can almost feel the fresh air.
Kind regards,
Gert

two big boats that drew attention right as opened the thumbnail, Bulent. Yet, I look at the surrounding, beautiful & typical to this coastal area.
Nice red color in contrast to bright blue sky and green slope.
Have a nice weekend,

Hi Bulent
Happy new year! The boat is very vivid and a great Centrepiece to the already great landscape behind. Your note is great, thank you! The name of the vessel is also appropriate for the towns back story, I imagine it could have just as easily be called The frolicking mermaid. Nice elements all tied together
Cheers

Hello Bulent,
What a beautiful view of this charming harbour. The red boat is most eye-catching of course, but the natural colours of the hill and the water look very pleasant too in this soft sunlight. I like the low POV and the reflections in the motionless water look like a painting.

Hello Bulent,
I have wondered for a long time how Peggy's Cove got its name, now I know thanks to you. 'Reverence' makes an eye-catching focal point and is ideally placed in the frame. The image is nicely illuminated thanks to that lovely sky and has excellent colours and clarity. Thanks for sharing.

Hello dear Bülent,
Very well observed and captured ! Nice title.
This one reminds me to a discussion I had with my father some 60 years ago when I was only 15. I won 5.000 TL from Milli Piyango. Was of course quite happy and started to convince my father to by a twin lense Rolleiflex. Money was more than enough. Than my father said to me "look Mesut, it's not important which camera you use, it's important if you are able to see" !
Only many many years after that I had my Rolleiflex !
TFS and have a nice weekend

Hello Bulent,
This is a beautiful view of Peggy's Cove, with the "Reverence" dominating the scene. The red color is great, and I also like the rocks in the foreground. There's warm sunlight, and that one white house on the hill, too. It must be a charming place with some delicious, fresh seafood. :-)

Hello Bulent
This really looks like a scene from the western part of Norway. The red boat is certainly eye-catching. Fine effect of the reflections in the calm water surface. Lovely scene, very well captured - I like it a lot:) TFS.

Hi Bulent
i'm not sure how on earth I missed this Canadian shot in your gallery, at least i noticed it now.
and yes Peggy's Cove is a hot spot for photographer for sure.
been here myself. I have family in Halifax.
love seeing the white house up on the small rocky hill, and you placed it so neatly in the bg, tucked away quietly.
the composition is A+ with the focal point off to the left side. well done.
cheers

Hello Bulent,
This is a stunning photograph!
For me, it has so much!
The red boat is well placed and combines with the rocks and reflection to totally dominate the f/g; so it's pleasing to find even more gems in the m/g and b/g, in way of the moored boats and the white house.
Everything fits into the scene do well and all set against a cloud-coated sky.
My warm regards,
Bev :-)

Hello Bulent, the lower point of view works well here making an interesting composition. The twored boats draw the eyes into the scene.
The light was good;making lovely reflections, and a complementary blue sky.

Hi Bulent.
A beautiful image of this small dock, where they only catch a few boats, this red besides being the largest, is the one that most impacts the image with its color, I love the solitary house on the promontory.
Good lighting management and superb sharpness.
Very well done. My congratulations.
All the best and have a good start to the week.
Luis.

Hello Bulent,
the red hull of the boat makes a very attractive focal point and vivifies the whole area. I like how the red tones are multiplied through the reflections and the addition of other eye-catching elements. I like how a low point of view gave you a rich composition, full of textures, colours and interest. Congratulations and thank you!
All the best, have a great evening,
Ourania
