Photographer's Note
Stanley Park.
Stanley Park is a 405-hectare (1,001-acre) public park that borders the downtown of Vancouver in British Columbia, Canada and is almost entirely surrounded by waters of Vancouver Harbour and English Bay.
The park has a long history and was one of the first areas to be explored in the city. The land was originally used by indigenous peoples for thousands of years before British Columbia was colonized by the British during the 1858 Fraser Canyon Gold Rush. For many years after colonization, the future park with its abundant resources would also be home to nonaboriginal settlers. The land was later turned into Vancouver's first park when the city incorporated in 1886. It was named after Lord Stanley, 16th Earl of Derby, a British politician who had recently been appointed governor general.

Hello Danos,
The totem poles are fascinating and wonderful products of traditional craftsmen. They are interesting to watch and would probably be even more interesting if we could "read" them and understand their meaning. Now we just have to satisfy ourselves with the good quality of the photo.
Kind regards,
Gert

Hello Danos,
I've never seen a picture of such a large collection of totem poles.
They look very beautiful artisan works.
Also very colourful.
Beautifully presented in a natural surrounding.
Best regards, Paul

Hi Danos,
The trees are framing well the totem poles. The point of view is showing the details of the totem poles at Stanley park. The good luminosity is enhancing the beauty of the colors. Have a nice day.

Klaispera Danos,
A well known spot in the Vancouver area. Each one of those Totten columns deserve a photo of itself, colorful and different - even as they look the same.
Wish you a nice weekend,
Ike

Hi Danos,
lovely spot full of colorful decorations so characteristic to the Native Americans.
It could pretend to be a picture from the old times of the wild west since there is almost no sign of civilization around.
Beautiful and captured on a great weather day.
Very well done,
M
