Photographer's Note
Back in July, in the year 1968, I went shooting old steam technology at the Quebec railway station «La Gare du Palais» shown at many place on TE. I was carrying my newly second hand Practika 35mm. The Canadian National Railway 4-8-2 Class U-1 mountain type locomotive built in 1932 was downtown.
This was my early experience with photography. I was using an Ektachrome 160 ASA, 35 mm diapositive film and shot this one with a high F and a high speed in a sunny day.
Not so bad for a night picture in a sunny day; So a scan was made from a print of my original diapositive.
Photo of the whole beautiful and gorgeous locomotive will be posted on TE, if and only if, strongly requested by viewers.

Salut Jean-Pierre
Un jeu d'ombre qui montre tout en laissant déviner le sujet,il faut donc travailler pour reconnaitre la loco.
Présence de bruit,un peu normal vu le passage dans le scanner.Je vais éventuellement essayer un passage au neatimage en soirée

Very atmospheric rail graphism, Jean Pierre. I love the old industrial curves and the stark contrast here.
I also used Practika but that was from 1974-1994. Before that I cherished my first cam, an Afga Isomat Rapid. Fine job.
