Photographer's Note
Handheld looking up into the Maple trees with the sun behind teh leaves brings a real pleasant lighting effect on the maple. These leaves are always appealing for theri design and of course are on the Canadian flag. Enjoy

Hi Paul,
Very beautiful picture! I like the smooth background, nice bokeh. The funny thing is that the shadow made by the crossing of the two leaves makes it a third leaf. Very good colors and sharpness is good. But more than the technical aspect, it is the powerful feeling that we get from it. Thank you!

I like this alot! The backlighting on the leaves is a good effect, showing both the shape of the leaves and the detail inside the leaves. The colour is very good too. Well done!

Hi Paul,
A first rate macro shot of the leaves. Stunning clarity here. I especially like the play of light and shadow. The green leaf contrasted with the gold ones really enhances. This is very fine work, Paul.

Hi Paul. What a great play of light you have captured. I like the dark background and how it sets the leaves off with good contrast. Very nice one Paul!

Beautiful light and color,Paul, and a very nice DoF. I really love the light,it's magnificent. The edeges of the elaves dissolving in the dark. There's not much more to add, simple and beautiful.

Hi Paul
Wonderful graphism. I like the dark bg, which seems to saturate the colors even more. Good close up. Tfs.

A very special ambience you captured with the backlight on the maple leaves, Paul. Also I see you used a telezoom lens for this one and the amount of textural detail and crispness you got is pretty impressive. Nice result with a natural-looking luminosity.

How did I miss this one? (scratching my head);
As a fellow Canadian, how could I not critique a Maple Leaf?
Nice colors, SUPERB DETAIL, and an appealing DOF.
Nicely done Paul. Got any Maple Syrup for us? ;-)
