This is one of the first photos I've taken on my D200. Minor crop, slight contrast bump in PS. Location is Granville Island. I side stepped along with her (she was moving fairly briskly). I was hoping for a little more bg blur, but didn't have time to tinker obviously!

compare to the BG she's sharp enough, I'd only have cropped a left strip (leaving just one but complete dog ;-) besides - it's a very good street shot; cheers - Tomasz

I like this street scene a lot! it's well captured and to me gives a feeling of a loneliness, of a difficult life. On the background you see the eager-to-consume people and the comparison is very interesting.
I agree with the remark on the dog.
