Photographer's Note
Driving along the road in the Waterton Lakes Park in southern Alberta we were stunned to see this bear-cub (at first we thought it was a grizzly, but park rangers identified it for us from my pix as a colour variety of the black bear known as the cinnamon bear), placidly munching on dandilions by the side of the road.
I pulled over right beside it and my friend and I both started shooting away---the bear took NO notice of us whatsoever! We, on the other hand kept a watchful eye out for it's mother who could spell trouble for us if she felt her cub was threatened, but she never appeared (whew!).
We sure got a lot of shots of it though!

Wow, you're so lucky to have seen this beautiful bear cub. But maybe you're even more lucky that the mother didn't show up! It's a nice shot. Although, it would have been better if it wasn't as heavily cropped (imho).
