Photographer's Note
By the Ottawa River at Andrew Haydon park. At sunset I saw this beautiful reflection of a tree in water with the ripples going through. I used a 1/8 exposure time to get this effect. Used a tripod. No filters, no digital manipulations.
My intention was to make it abstract.

Wondeful shot! It almost looks like an abstraction. Love the pink and blue reflections and the movement of the ripples on the branches. And no filters or digital manipulation hey ! that's great, what we would always want to achieve with our camera, not having to make modifications afterwards.

Very nice reflection and colors, but without a non reflected reference, it becomes a fuzzy abstract of an upside down tree, which makes it a bit uncomfortable to the eyes. Dont get me wrong, though. Reflection PLUS actual tree is OK. IMO, it looses interest just alone. See WS.

Beautiful abstract shot indeed. I liked the straightness of the reflection and the colors. Good job!
