About Shankarpur:-
Shankarpur is a virgin beach town located 14 km east of Digha in West Bengal. It is also a regular fishing harbour. The mornings are cool, when fishermen can be seen hauling their huge nets out of the sea. The morning sun reflecting on the sea waves in the east, and the local fishing boats on the coast offer excellent photographic opportunities.

Located in the Purba (East) Medinipur District of the state of West Bengal, Shankarpur is a beach destination along the Digha-Contai Road which is fast gaining popularity. It is at a distance of about 185 km from the capital city Kolkata, and about 14 km from the famous beach town Digha.

Hello Indrasish,

Wonderful composition. The bicycle in the foreground is well complicated by the brilliant cloud formation in the background. Including human figures in the frame made sure the image doesn`t look lonely.
Colors are well balanced and saturated.

You have some really amazing pics in your gallery.

it`s nice to see you posting again,especially when with a shot like this,the bike is perfectly placed to create FG interest in an imaginative composition.
Beautifully subtle colours in the most pleasing light contribute hugely to a fine piece of photography.

Hello Indrasish!

Excellent, lively capture with good cropping and a fine sky! Reminds me very much of the Danish North Sea beaches. The difference is that you are allowed to drive with cars on some Danish beaches. You bike is much more sympathetic!

Beautiful composition, such a simple view, but proof that the photographers eye can make such a difference. Where you have placed the bike is perfect and the bike itself is full of character. Really nicely done

To get a cycle like this on the beach was the best part of this photograph. Take away that and its just another beach shot, but that cycle steals the show. It goes on the say that if you have an eye for it, a simple thing can be turned into a great picture.
