Bonjour Korkut,
Une image très graphique, qui mérite qu'on s'y attarde pour la savourer pleinement. Elle garde néanmoins un peu de son mystère et la conversion en NB l'aide bien en cela.
Image originale qui met en avant ton coup d'oeil.

Great eye catching composition. I think the b/w version works best but how about colour on the steel and desaturate the figure (esp the blue jeans).

this image brings back a lot of memories...
it was the mid-90s and I was working in Germany, on construction sites, as an interpreter and site manager assistant, and I had to walk every day on these iron rods, covered in mud up to my knees...
intelligent perspective - it highlights the lines and links therefore very well to your (beautiful) quote.

There are thousands of photos with the feet in the corner on TE, but there is something of different beceause of lines wich gives me VERTIGO !
Strange, unusual effect of lines which really moove in my eyes.

It's a truly captivating post.I think the composition has gained a lot from the vertical frame.
No doubt though, black and white works perfectly here emphasising the graphical lines of the image.

Bunun adı da çekerken aklındaydı di mi? Uzun zamandır kendimi bu sayfalarda göremiyor olmak aktiflik katsayımın düşüşü açısından beni biraz endişelendiriyor, hele bir de “yüzünden bir hayır görmedik bari ayaklarına bakalım” yaklaşımı derinden yaralıyor... Kusura bakma, fotoğrafik yaklaşımda bulunamayacağım, zira çok efkarlandım... Ama bu da 50 mm ile bir başka güzel olurmuş, o ayrı ;)

Hey..indeed grazyna has said it..how many..but to see it off your sensor makes it special..it has to be the upper right quadrant of the frame..think thats gives the best balance...

Merhaba sevgili Korkut,
Beton demirinden, iyi bir göz böyle sanat çıkartır işte ! Bu sanat iyi sanat (içine şeyedilesi türünden değil) ! Bir de "görebilen" göz işin içine girince sonuç dörtdörtlük oluyor.
Ayakkabılar ise oldukça yeni, asistan kim di ? Saçların rengini göremediğim için kestiremiyorum !
Ben PS da 180 derece tilt ettim, onun de etkisi müthiş. Tavsiye ederim dene.

Ben cekmezdim herhalde. Yamlis anlama, ama benim cektigim tip bir fotograf olmadigi icin gozum aradiginda bunu gormez. Cok etkileyici ve cok guzel net bir fotograf.

you really go off the beaton track in photography and I admire that very much. No place for pretty postcards here...What can I say, I understant and accept your love for b&w but my vote goes for the colorful walk. Thanks for posting it as a WS :) The graphic effect is great and everything seems to be moving fast and making me dizzy as I move the mouse up and down to see the whole image. cheers, krkt.

Well seen and captured! Like any good bostankorkulugu, it has a great visual impact. Lines, texture, motion, organised chaos, great contrast... I like it very much! If you hadn't shown the colour version, I would say that the B&W is very appropriate to the subject. As a matter of fact it is, but I also like very much the colour version and I can't tell which one is the best.

your "signature" is all over this photo, amazing how just few elements can create such a fascinating image. fairly radical composition with just feet in the frame works really well, makes the viewer try and imagine how the person walks and what he's actually doing. great stuff :)

I like these shots which we quickly catch in the street. Excellent idea, very well realized. I also like very much the color version for the colors of the metal but the effect in black and white stresses the graphics. It would have can be been interesting to keep the metal in color and to put feet in black and white! But I have enough time to try today!
