Photographer's Note

These last days I have been feeling like these cows seem to be, trying to understand what is going on before deciding what to do, should I stay or should I go away?

This place has been like the bar with the best ambiance, where I like to go everyday to enjoy some drinks while chatting with interesting people about our favourite hobby, but lately the owner of that bar, who is usually absent and quite discreet, seems to have the (likely involuntary) tendency to provoke the anger of some of his best clients, that resulting in a bad atmosphere that in turn makes more people bitter and uncomfortable.

No matter I don't like much things here, measuring the pros and cons a bit cynically, I have nothing to win by leaving and doing it won't change anything here, so for now I decided to turn the head to the other side and continue to enjoy the company of those who didn't left, whom I surely miss but are a minority compared with those who stayed.

About the photo:

Cows seem a popular subject around here, so why not posting one myself? They are also a common sight in the fields of my beloved Alentejo, so here you have seven cows from Marvão. It was taken exactly 1 year and 1 day ago in a day that was unusually proficuous despite the cloudy weather. Incidentally, all my posts of Marvão so far were taken that day.
