Photographer's Note
One of the more popular contigents in any gay pride parade are the women on motorcycles, fondly known as dykes on bikes. San Francisco has about a thousand of them it seems (where they are known as Women's Motorcycle Contingent Dykes On Bikes to be inclusive). In Chicago last Sunday, there were less than a hundred ... formidable women proudly burning the pavement. The Women's Motorcycle Contingent's mission is to support, encourage and motivate women motorcyclists everywhere.
