Photographer's Note
I saw this male swan while at a nature area with his 'family' (I believe herd is the correct term). He let me get fairly close, but I didn't want to push my luck.
You can tell this is a mute swan (Cygnus olor) by the lump on it's 'nose'. They can grow to 155cm long and can have a wingspan of aroun 240cm.

- The Mute Swan is the national bird of the Kingdom of Denmark.
- All Mute Swans in the UK (with the possible exception of those in Orkney and Shetland) are considered the property of the British monarch.
