Photographer's Note

I saw this male swan while at a nature area with his 'family' (I believe herd is the correct term). He let me get fairly close, but I didn't want to push my luck.

You can tell this is a mute swan (Cygnus olor) by the lump on it's 'nose'. They can grow to 155cm long and can have a wingspan of aroun 240cm.

Some trivea from wikipedia:
- The Mute Swan is the national bird of the Kingdom of Denmark.
- All Mute Swans in the UK (with the possible exception of those in Orkney and Shetland) are considered the property of the British monarch.

interessante macro nette et précise d'un animal très gracieux et apprécié.
Excellente DOF, on ne pouvait l'imaginer meilleure.
Couleurs naturelles et cadrage adapté et quel niveau de détails.
