Photographer's Note
Between the Gerald R. Ford Presidential Museum and the Grand River are the green areas of the Ah-Nab-Awen Park. This park is classified by the city of Grand Rapids as a Speciality Park, and hosts a number of artwork made by local artists and the Gerald R. Ford Presidential Museum.
Once the site of a Native American village, this 6.5-acre park began as a bicentennial project which involved extensive public design input. The name, "Ah-Nab-Awen," was proposed by the Elders of the Three Fires Council and means, "Resting Place." The Park exhibits numerous pieces of art and interpretive markers and is often viewed in the context of the later addition to the site, the Gerald R. Ford Presidential Museum. Ah-Nab-Awen Park hosts many large community-wide festivals including the July 4th fireworks and Celebration on the Grand.

Hello Murat,
In spite of the dull weather it's a fine view across the river and the tall buildings. Especially the main tower, also seen in the WS, is nicely designed. You processed the photo well.
Best regards,
Gert

Hello Murat,
Thank you for the interesting notes. I often wonder how native Americans are represented in the country which once belonged to them.
This is a well judged composition with a strong f/g triangle, the bridge linking across the river and the three, tall skyscrapers creating a good sense of perspective, as they guide towards the b/g.
My warm regards,
Bev :-)

Hello Murat,
A very nice view of the city in the background with the bridge in the middle and the park in the foreground. The trees were still pretty naked on May 1! The three tallest tower stand out well from the sky and the colours are well-saturated also.

Hi Murat,
It seems you have experienced a similar cloudy weather in this lovely spot similarly to me in my recent visit to Gdansk. Well these places are beautiful, I can only imagine that on a good weather day this would be so colorful. Instead you had to refer to the processing and you turned the clouds into an interesting background.
Very nice angle at the elegant modern structures,
M

The town of Grand Rapids is bigger than I had expected, with an impressive skyline. Good sharpness and a pleasant diffused light. Tfs!
