Photographer's Note
The railyard is located at the mouth of the Maumee River, which empties into Lake Erie.
The mouth of the river at Lake Erie is wide and supports considerable commercial traffic, including oil, grain, and coal. Like most ports there are plenty of railyards to provide transportation of materials in and out of the interior towns and cities.
The image was rotated slightly, sharpened, and cropped. Levels were also adjusted.

For a railyard fan like me this shot really works!
What a great POV - it really makes this image almost an abstract one. Beautiful earthy/rusty colors. Very original and interesting shot, BRAVO.

OMG. I see a book, website, or portfolio coming in the future ... a collection of your aerial shots. This one is gorgeous ... because of the lines and the diagonals. Very graphical ... and the patterns are very striking to the eyes. More please.

Brian - my second critique today, and it happens to be another of your photos! It sounds smug to say it, but this and several other of your striking images are what I aim for when I`m taking pictures. Excellent - Nitram [Martin Toms - Coventry, England]
