Photographer's Note
One thing the digital age has done is spawn a whole new generation of what I like to call "snap-shooters." Big cities, small towns, anywhere you go you see them shooting away, usually on a phone cam. I think this is a great thing. Most will continue snapping away, but some will take it further, and develop a passion for photography. I caught this image on a New York City street, but it could easily be in any town in the world.

Good stuff, Sam. The colors really pop, and you are continuing with your "Taxi Driver" theme of New York City at night. Excellent use of the vertical - you use every inch of space well.
Cool.

Realy funny face of the lady- absolutely concentrated. Nice portrate of typical "mobile" photographer. Quality of the picture- perfect! A little bit "heavy" frame, but it's a matter of taste.

Well done with this documentary style photograph, Sam. Your subject is not confused with the background, but you also have the city lights and cars at the top of the frame which puts this all in context. In other words, this is skillfully composed. Good positioning of the subject within the frame, too.
New York must be a great place for street photography.
Regards, Andrew.

Nice image - well composed, and the shallow DOF used is good for isolating the main subject.

Hi,
I, decidely, like this one!
That's, quite, caricatural!
I'm sure you don't use your camera like this.
Nice colors and lights mix.
Bernard
Note : Do you have other photos?
I'm curious!

Yes this is a very common sight all over the world. You have captured the moment so well here with good lights and colours. I like how your subject is so oblivious to the moving traffic behind her and is intent on catching a glimpse ..we as viewers are wondering what she is photographing. I am dying to know. :)
You were in the right place at the right time. Your notes are very nice to read too. TFS

Hi Sam,
A very typical situation for our time... Only ten years ago this would be difficult to imagine..!
Subject well framed, and the strong colours add to the impact...
Good details and as always proficient work!
