St. Thomas was the first port of call during my vacation with Princess Cruises (Caribbean Princess). This was my first time going on the Eastern Itinerary, which also included stops at St. Maarten and Princess Cays.

During the morning, I participated in a discover scuba diving excursion at Coki Beach, and that has inspired me to pursue a PADI certification so I can do more diving in the future.

In the afternoon, I took the cable car ($18usd per person) up to Paradise Point, and from this view, you can see Charlotte Amalie (downtown area), and the ship pier, where all the cruise ships dock. From left to right, the cruise ships are Caribbean Princess, Norwegian Spirit, and Carnival Glory.

Due to my wide-angle lens, the ship sizes were distorted, as the Caribbean Princess is actually the same length as the Carnival Glory.

I would highly recommend anyone visiting St. Thomas to skyride up to Paradise Point and enjoy this marvelous view. There is also a bar and some shops where you can do some souvenir shopping.

St. Thomas was definitely the highlight of my vacation, and I hope to return to this beautiful island in the near future.
