Photographer's Note
We are finally in the Into the German Homeland Gallery of the Road to Berlin: European Theater Galleries section of The National WWII Museum. Again, from the museum’s website:
American troops advancing into Germany witnessed and experienced unimaginable violence and destruction. Our final gallery reveals the last major obstacle of taking German bridges on the Rhine, the discovery of Ohrdruf concentration camp (the first Nazi death camp liberated by American forces), the capture of Cologne, the lengths Hitler would go to, almost destroying his own people in the process, and, finally, the ultimate surrender of Germany, thus ending the war in Europe.
The workshop contains a photo of the close up of the panel for Dresden. Well, we have started from Africa and made it all the way to Berlin. We spent most of the day in the museum but could only see this one section in detail. If you visit the museum, make sure you allow for more than a day, if you like studying everything in detail.
Alman Anavatanı İçine
Sonunda Ulusal II.
Nihai galerimiz Ren Nehri'ndeki Alman köprülerini almayı, Ohrdruf toplama kampının keşfini (Amerikan kuvvetleri tarafından kurtarılan ilk Nazi ölüm kampı), Köln'ün ele geçirilmesini, Hitler'in, neredeyse kendi halkının yıkımıyla sonuçlanacak yapmaktan geri durmayacak şeyleri ve nihayet Almanya'nın kayıtsız şartsız teslim olması, böylece Avrupa'daki savaşı sonlanmasını gözler önüne seriyor.

The idea by itself made a strong impression, Murat.
WW2 had left us, people of the whole world, with a whole different perspective about wars.

Hello Murat,
It's an interesting combination of photos, visitors and fake ruins in a differently colored lights. Inevitably a rather noisy photo but still enjoyable.
Best regards,

Hello Murat,
The two men in modern dress sat amidst all the destruction makes an impression. The lighting, very well managed on your part, perfectly captures the mood.

Hi, Murat.
A great composition, but that makes me very sad to see the tremendous ruins, which destroyed much art and beauty accumulated in previous centuries, there is nothing worse than wars, in the museum this very well exposed.
Well done. I like it.
Have a nice day. Very best regards.
Luis.

Hello Murat,
The photo gives a clear impression of the destruction the war caused with cities like Dresden en Berlin being almost completely bombed away (just as much as Rotterdam in The Netherlands and several English cities). The photo shows the exhibition well and the two men seem to be contemplating the horrors of war here too.

Hi Murat,
the destruction of Dresden, Nuremberg or Berlin is quite symbolic but one can say: "and who's fault is this?"
but I think Germans usually don't mention that they destroyed a lot of other cities breaking all conventions they have signed and all treaties. The symbolic for Poland was the destruction of Warsaw which was destroyed partially at the start of the war and later in the uprising but most importantly it was later purposefully damaged by Germans as a punishment for the uprising. They have bombed the city to the ground just as a punishment because they have temporary won a battle and they knew they will loose the war anyway with the Russian Army standing on the other side of the river. Two quite terrible neighbours to have at that time :(
But still it surprises me that the damage on the German side is so well advertised while the damage they did is less known...
Media are quite selective..
Great reportage here though from this interesting museum.
