Photographer's Note

Yesterday, I took a free ride from Houston, Texas to Smith Oaks Bird Sanctuary in High Island near Port Arthur where I was told there are up to 8,000 birds in some days.

Actually, the location is two separated little islands with alligators swimming around and what photographers can do is to fight with millions courage mosquitos to gain access to lake's shore. I passed this first round of fight with repellent, but lost the second one. Birds gathered on the islands hundreds of yards away. While other photographers armed with long-range guns, I can't do nothing to conquer the alligators in order to be able to photograph birds.

To not go home "emtpy hand", I shot the shooters with my full jealousy.
