Photographer's Note
We arrived at the campground at 10:30 PM Friday night and didn't know that they close & lock the gate each night at 10:00 PM. So we slept the first night in the car at the gate until they opened it Saturday morning at 6:00 AM.
I tried calling my friend we were camping with to find out where they were but there is no cellphone reception here—REAL camping happens (so I am told by the camping cognoscenti) only in locations where the luxuries of life are non-extant.
So I drove around ALL the camping sites looking for my friend, and finally found him at the farthest site possible (isn't that always the case—Murphy's law, &c.). He was already up and making a fire for breakfast.
This is the clearing where we camped with a lovely view of the sky.
:::
This is a merge of 2 landscape oriented photos (one of the sky and one of the ground stitched together). Used shadow & highlight and a little sharpening.
I realized that when attempting to have TE automatically recognize your camera settings, you should not use the SAVE FOR WEB feature in Photoshop. Only the SAVE AS feature preserves the data. Just an FYI...
