Photographer's Note
My planned excursion up Burro Creek Canyon terminated at this point as the creek filled the canyon from wall to wall. Being unsure of the depth of the water and knowing that the creek bed up to this point consisted for the rocks you see in the foreground, I decided I didn't want to risk an accidental swim with my camera.
Spanning the canyon are the double bridges of highway US93 with the older, southbound, bridge in front. The truck crossing it probably has a 53-foot trailer and gives a good indication of the depth and width of the canyon.

Hello mark,
This really is an amazing piece of scenery, and thoughtfully captured in your exquisite photograph!
There is so much to appreciate: the f/g rocks, the reflection, the converging lines, the bridge like a halo and the sunlit, b/g hills!
Have a lovely w/e,
Bve :-)
