At the Grand Canyon's Grandview Trailhead it was cold and the few breaks in the clouds gave me hope that it really would turn partly cloudy during our hike down to Horseshoe Mesa.

This is a different, non-tourist brochure, view of the Canyon. Slightly east of the actual trailhead, water and wind have carved a hollow dropping hundreds of feet before the slope becomes less steep.
