Photographer's Note
We listen to live jazz frequently, especially in San Diego although a few of you may remember photos that I posted of a North Sea Jazz cruise.
Tripp is a saxophonist that we see frequently at one of our favorite venues, Dizzy's. Trip has been performing since he was 13. His versatility has led to performances with such internationally renowned acts as jazz singer Mose Allison, singer Kenny Loggins, The Little River Band, Motown legends Smokey Robinson, The Four Tops, and The Temptations. He also has a recording studio.
The D 700 allows shooting at very high ISO's, a must when photographing jazz performances to avoid the distraction of flash.

Olá Pat,
A good picture without flash. Perhaps just a little blur on his hair, but as a whole it's fine.

Hello Pat,
Beautiful photo and beautiful portrait in homage to Gunnar, sax 042. The light and the neatness are good. The darkness brings to light the musician. A beautiful and pleasant photo. Bravo.
Have a nice day
Cordially

The man seems very concentrated and intent on his deed of taking sound from the old brass instrument - the sound must be great. Congratulations!
