Photographer's Note
Taken early morning in Uvas Canyon park as the sun was beginning to shine thru the trees. This park is in the edge of Santa Cruz mountains in California. This place is hidden enough that not many people visit this park, so it is a great place for solitary walks when you need it. Water in the streams and falls last for about 6 months of the year and is heavy after the rains in early spring. Taken with medium format Pentax 67.

A beautiful shot! I do not know of this falls. I may go and visit it next spring or this fall. The timed slow shutter speed made the water more attractive, silky smooth and cotton soft looking.

Hello Nick,
I have read about the Uvas Canyon and certainly am adding it to my list, after viewing your sharp waterfall surrounded by darkness, then bright green above.
I also own a Pentax 6x7 but have not touched it since using digital cameras. It certainly is a fine piece of equipment for large enlargements. But the cost of film development and printing are high.
Thanks for sharing,
Ray
