One of the spectacular peaks at Yosemite National Park in winter, seen here from a valley road.
Some people told me that Yosemite would not be as great in winter as it is in summer, but it turned out great still (Or even best thought I can't say for sure since I haven't been there in summer). We happened to be there during a sunny day. But when we left the valley in the late afternoon, the fogs started to condense in the lower valley. The combined effect of this condensing and the frost on the window of the tour bus give the place a very eerie feel.
