Photographer's Note
After visiting the Museum of the Plains Indians, on the way back towards Great Falls, Montana we came across this statue on the roadside. It appears to have been constructed using, among other things, body panels from old cars. It’s quite a remarkable piece of work.
This image was cropped from the original scan to decentralize the subject and slight increases were made to both the contrast and saturation.
I’ve credited this pic to being taken at Browning, Montana but, if anyone can place its location more precisely than that, please let me know.
Kind regards to all,
Tony

The following information is from a critique kindly posted by berseph, which can be seen below. I thank her very much for her assistance.
"As for location, this statue is one of the Blackfeet Warriors Sculpture created by Jay Laber. As for where this one is, it's a bit uncertain because I believe there are four--one at each side of the Blackfeet Indian Reservation. I saw the one right outside of Glacier National Park on the south edge when I visited, but it's not the same as this one based on the position of the horse's head."

Hi Tony. Nice piece of work, statue’s not bad either ;-). I hope they have done something to stop it rusting away. Good composition and POV. Thanks for sharing.
Cheers, Paul.

Hi Tony.
This is a very interesting artwork because of the final aspect and also because of the material that was used to build them. The composition is well managed, but it was maybe better to get a slightly further POV to integrate the entire stone building which supports the statues.
Interesting and well done.
Thanks for sharing!

Hi Tony. Nice capture of this statue. The colors are great as is the positioning of the statue.

My image didn't come out nearly as good as your did, so I haven't posted it here.

Hi Tony
Very interesting sculpture. I have a feeling as they were alive, waving on the wind.
Great capture.

Hello M'DARLIN' to you toooooo...
Hi Tony, what a super sculpture. Amazing art, isn't it? And you show it well.
We plan to be passing through your way on Sunday 17th Dec, and I will contact you before then... That's if Rangitoto doesn't explode in the meantime!! Or Taupo's water drains out of it...
Good night M'DARLIN'!
