Photographer's Note

The green plant is a manzanita (archtstaphylos sp.) and is one of my favorite plants. I'm slightly colorblind, but I can see the green in these leaves! All other greens pale in comparison.

I am hoping in this shot to contrast the green with the red rocks behind in a pleasing way, and hopefully getting a more unique shot of Bryce Canyon that the normal landscapes like the one I posted yesterday. It is a kind of experiment, but I love it, and it is by far my favorite shot of the dozens I shot in Bryce that day. I hope you'll let me know how it turned out!
