Photographer's Note

To go with my previous picture post, thought i'd throw up this interesting shot of one of the peaks that help form Zion Canyon in Zion National Park. At the moment, i cannot remember the name of this particular mountain, but it stands next to the Visitor Center and looms over the parking lot. Very beautiful when it's not cloudy, but this winter storm and snow added such a different quality to the park that most visitors don't usually see.

I snapped this shot, along with a few others before the mountain was completely covered with clouds. It was good timing on my part, or luck, because most of the cliffs and mountain tops were hidden and looked very drab from the haze. Enhanced contrast with curves and used the burn tool in PS to give the clouds just a little more depth, albeit unsuccessfully.
