Photographer's Note
This is a viewpoint from Dead Horse Point state park in southeast Utah. The park is so named because of a group of cowboys trapped several wild horses on this point, accessible only from a thin strip of land which they had blocked with brush, then selected the horses they wanted to tame and keep. Unlike the common practice of releasing the remaining horses, these irresponsible cowboys left the poor horses to die of thirst within view of the raging Colorado river 2000 feet below.

Spectacular shot. Gret POV and DOF. The rich red tones are nicely reproduced. Good use of the tree to create a 3D effect, well done.

Es un lugar hermoso, que obviamente te iba a dar un excelente cuadro. Esos colores terracota me encantan, en contraste con el azul del cielo. Un exquisito paisaje de quietud. Tienes mi voto.

Magnificent landscape. Good composition and view with this tree as a focus point. The shape of the tree is wonderful, looks almost like creature of some kind.
The warm red colours contrasting the clear blue sky is gorgeous.
This must have been an impressive sight.
Thanks for sharing.

my own backyard and I don't have any up here on TE. I can't believe you got the shot this sharp w/o a tripod. Everything else is great. The tree provides a nice reference.

the title of your photo and your note to explain the name of the park are perfect to remind that we must respect nature as well as animals , and when some people don't they may leave unforgettable trail
