Hidden streams in the Uvas canyon park in Santa Cruz mountains, CA. The area once had abundant wild grapes and Uvas is a Spanish word for grape.

This lushly wooded park of 1,133 acres, is nestled in upper Uvas Canyon on the eastern side of the Santa Cruz Mountains. This mountain park offers hiking, camping and picnicking opportunities throughout most of the year.
Outdoor enthusiasts will find Uvas Canyon Park has much to offer. The park has six miles of hiking trails including a one mile Waterfall Loop that travels along Swanson Creek past many of the park's waterfalls.

Uvas Canyon was once the tribal territory of the mutsun Ohlone Indians. Various of their campsites have been located throughout Uvas Canyon.

Wonderful streaks of water. The purple color cast is a bit too strong though. What film did you use?

Nice close approach, beautiful light on the moss. More than the movement of the water I'm attracted to the several greens on the stones, somehow look like precious stones to me. 'Uvas...' I supposed it doesn't have nothing to do with grapes...Uvas means grapes in portuguese.
