Photographer's Note
So many folks in the states, like me, can not travel to all the wonderful places around the world, like many of you all can, so finding places that recreate the rest of the world are sometimes fun to visit. In this case, I was at Disney's Animal Kingdom again, and this is a photo of "Mohammed" bringing the mountain to us, as the saying goes.
This animal park is built in most places to come as close to natural habitat as possible in its re-creations. But being in a high tourist area, it also provides for the "extreme" adventurer, and offers a few themed park rides for the visitor, including a "river rapids" ride, where you'll either get wet or soaked, and a safari ride through the Floridian-African plains.
On the edge of their Asian wilderness exhibit area, the Disney "Imagineers" (engineers with a huge imagination) are attempting to rebuild Mount Everest, complete with a roller coaster ride. I tried to show the scale of the construction here with the couple pointing (not posed - really!). You can see where the construction men have already scaled the heights and "planted" the US flag on top.

A nice view of a special construction site, Michelle, showing blue in blue in blue. I like how you've managed to show all the irregular scaffolds - this is not an ordinary building. The small family having a "peek" over the fence adds both scale and expectation to the scene. Very well done! I see some distortion at the right edge - I'll try a WS.

Very interesting shot, Michelle. "Big mountain". I like your informative shots. Good notes too. Don`t mind, I would like to crop a lot your shot, but it is only my option - no more. Good share !

Mi Michelle, browsing thru y'r portfolio I found this. It's a very remarkable picture! I have never seen an artificial mountain in scaffolding. I've read some books about the Disney works and it's facinating to see some of the imageneering behind it. Nice job.

Interesting shot, I like the angle of the fense and good use of scale with the people. What a huge construction, I would like to go here some day. Also very good note to go along with photo.
