Photographer's Note

I was fascinated by the birds watching the swimmer - it seemed like they were waiting for something to happen to him and then they will swoop and attack. It was a windy, gusty day on Lake Michigan, the beaches were practically empty except for people like me who photograph the waves splashing on the breakwaters (spectacular) and for thrill seekers like the person in the photo who basically risk their lives swimming in such dangerous weather conditions.

I saw the great films of the master Hitchcock (in Italy the tanslation was Uccelli - Birds - but I don't know if in the original version is the same...) and this picture seems taken from a scene of this beautiful film!
my compliments for the idea and the realization!
