Photographer's Note

The eighth in a series of images from places I have not posted from yet in an attempt to fill out my TE map as much as possible.

This shot is for Rosemary (SnapRJW), who yesterday asked when this little project of mine would reach the Green Mountain State. And, in fact, I was just up in Montpelier, Vermont's state capital, last Friday! The shot here is the Washington County Courthouse, on of the most notable buildings in Montpelier's tiny downtown. Down the street to the left of the courthouse is Vermont's state house, while up the street to the right is the main commercial center of the town. Montpelier is the nation's smallest state capital, at under 10,000 residents, but it is set in a beautiful valley with the Winooski River running through, and is well worth a visit.

This shot was taken in RAW, and edited with ViewNX2 and GIMP 2.8.
