Here one of the photos that I most like from NYC. I took this one from the tram that connect Manhattan to Roosevelt Island from where we can see the 1st Avenue and the East River and then the Roosevelt Island. and far on the right side the chimneys of Consolidated Edison Company.

nice the panoramic view of the place,with the East river ana the 1st Avenue to create depth and perspective in the scene.Good presentation as the light and colour management.

Hello Andre,
I recognized this spot right away. My sister lives right next to the tram, and we always see it from her window. :-) I like this photo because it's something familiar to me, and the warm sunlight is lovely, too.

I've really enjoyed viewing your series from NYC, gotta go back here one day! and sooner the better!
as for your question about my photo of the 2 bridges...no, there's a large stone ledge to sit or stand on with your tripod. very safe indeed.
as for this view here, we dont' get to see this too often...love the chimneys on the far right, and the long long straight streets NYC and Manhattan are known for.

Good pov on these buildings and river, interesting depth effect with the view of the street on the left side, nice soft light.
