Photographer's Note

This is one of the ponds in one of the plantations that surround Charleston, South Carolina. Like all scenery in South Carolina it is incredibly deep and rich in its green. This is a spring shot, give it another month, more humidity and there will be dreamy quality to this same shot. Less crisp, more intense, deeper. I shall post it next month. Of course there will be me dripping in sweat, bug bites everywhere and absolutely no tourists.

HI Roger, What a nice reflection of the Southern Pond in the spring time. The reflection likes a mirror to the reality. The misty air in the middle gives sense of depth to the composition. Splendid light and well chosen POV. The red rails add treat to the frame. Thank for sharing

You play wonderful with light and shadows, also the reflection make these picture very attractive.
Depth and perspective and bridge care for a lovely picture.Excellent composition, nice presentation too.
