Photographer's Note
Once you explore the lanes and byways of the South you come across humid, rich, verdant roads. Each one seems to be stunning. You never tire from looking at the live oaks dripping with Spanish Moss. Most lanes look like this. This particular road is unpaved, as are many in the Deep South. A 4x4 truck helps to explore these roads as most are not well maintained, can get slippery and muddy in the summer rains and are full of potholes.
