Une vue sur une formation rocheuse qui est située à Sedona. La photo a été prise d'un point d'observation sur le bord de cette route. Une diapositive Kodachrome 64ASA qui a été numérisée avec un Epsonperfection V500 Photo.

A view on a rock formation which is located in Sedona. The photo was taken from a lookout point on the edge of the road. A Kodachromme 64ASA which was scanned using an Epsonperfection V500 Photo.

Hello Pierre,
You have captured this most interesting rock formation under a good light bringing out the colours and detail to good effect. I like the symmetrical viewpoint and the layered effect. Excellent conversion from transparency to digital.

Bonjour Pierre,

J'aime bien l'inclusion de la clôture à l'avant plan dans le cadrage. Elle apporte une belle profondeur à la composition. Sedona est de toute beauté et bien mis en valeur avec des couleurs très bien rendues.

Red rock and most impressive earth-formation.
Well in contrast, and fine contrast to green and grey clouds.
From distance taken, managed a full view of the unique place.

Excellent quality for a scanned photo. Impressive natural phenomenon, I think this rock was made by wind, water and temperature too. As the cliffs of Meteora. Well, I'd like to visit Arizona once again. I'd like to see more interesting places in this State.

Very nice quality for a scanned image. Your composition is nice centering the rock formation gives the shot good symmetry. The inclusion of the trees in the foreground provide a nice border for the shot. The lighting was great and you captured it nicely.

Hello Pierre,

I like the layered, wedding cake appearance of this unusual geological formation in the US south west. Nice warm cold color contrasts between the red grass and rock and the blue grey sky. The horizontal strip of green adds depth & variety to the composition. Tfs!

Salut Pierre,
I imagine that the original (a legendary Kodachrome 64...) has much better colours, but knowing how hard is to have a good scan (or sometimes just a reasonable one), I still find it a great image, well composed and amazingly sharp. And, of course, the landscape is also beautiful.
