The Mill, a photo from Oregon, West

Photographer's Note

Built in 1906, this tall, nearly 150 foot grain elevator towers over everything that moves in the region and is a very strong element proving of the integrity of those first settlers and ranchers/farmers, to the Oregon country. Emerson Loop Road, where this elevator happens to rest beside, is actually along the exact route of the Oregon Trail before reaching The Dalles, Oregon.

Makes the tower stands out very strongly. Looks like a fifties picture too.
