Photographer's Note
The Cherry Blossoms were not quite out this Saturday in the higher elevations as they were in the lower valley, and this Saturday the weather is calling for mix clouds and sun so the sunrise may be the best to capture the blossoms that will be on these trees and the color on Adams bright red. Mt. Adams is a shade lower than Mt. Hood whom is just behind me to my left, and on the opposite side of the hillside from where I am standing here. Mt. St. Helens is barely visible to the far left of Mt. Adams in this image, and Mt. Ranier can barely be discernible unless you know where you are looking to the right of Mt. Adams and way off into the distance. On a clearer morning you can see all three peaks rising up from the lower peaks of the Columbia River Gorge and the foothills to the Southwestern Washington Cascades.
