Photographer's Note

The Majestic Mt. Hood, (Wy-East) as the Native American Chinook named him, rises some 11,000 + feet above the Willamette Valley. The image you see here is as close as the scene that stood before me actually was, lighting was beautiful, and in this image, there is proof that the eye cannot see every detail the digital camera can pick up, nor do our eyes comprehend the minute changes of light as they occur before them. I consider this my best in all the years I have captured Mt. Hood's image, and by far, the most beautiful...
