Photographer's Note
Something about children laughing and playing - learning to fight the storms of tides of life while smiling sure is nicer than the way we grown-ups do it sometimes.
Caught these four children in the middle of a low breaker on South Melbourne Beach. I like the expressions and different poses (especially the one who lost their footing on left!). The skies were cloudy all day, making the water gray and cold, but I don't think that really bothered the children. :o)
Sharpened for posting. As usual, comments, critiques and workshops are welcome.

Michelle,
The jouy of the children is unmistakable.
I listened to your pledge of WS and made a simple WS to give it more colour and light.

Hi Michelle, well I guess this is a very unique occasion - we're both posting children today ;-). I love the cheerfulness and play here and the crashing waves look very refreshing. Lovely and wellcomposed job & happy easter!

Great shot, Michelle. You really captured the joy of the children and the power of the wave. I like how the wave is almost as tall as the girl on the right. Nice soft colours. Well done.
